Argentina Travel Group, as a main part of the company, is involved in helping society in which it is immersed, giving a fixed percentage of its sales to social assistance. What does ‘social assistance’ mean for Argentina Travel Group?
We are convinced that solidarity is a value that people would not miss. For this reason, we are involved with people in a different way. We clearly think that the best way to help is to offer opportunities to people in order to improve, grow and feel that they can go on. Only the person, who experienced the same that he experienced, who traveled where he traveled, is the right one to create a company in this way. It is thought to be the one that satisfies your needs. He knows…you need something special!

Matías Polzella was born on July, 27 in 1984 in Salta, which is located in the north of Argentine Republic. Salta is the origin of Inca’s civilization and it was declared Humanity’s Cultural and National Heritage by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. (UNESCO) From his early age, he was interested in his two big passions: sports and the adventure for traveling. When he was 7 years old, his family decided to move to Calera in the province of Córdoba where his parents live still today and where he started his studies. At the age of 10, Matías started with two activities that he has practiced during his adolescence: sports and life in nature, being a boy scout.

He spent more than 10 years in the Scout Institution, traveling to the most beautiful places within the country and in Latin America. He learnt together with his family and friends, the values that foster along his life: honesty, care of nature, solidarity and family love.

When Matías finished his secondary school, he has begun his university studies as Magister in Business. Before that, he had studied to be a professor in Physical Education. In 2006, he decided to fulfill one of his yearning dreams, traveling around Europe together with his friend, Franco. They started the odyssey to the unknown…with the pleasure of traveling and knowing new cultures. They did it only with the round-trip ticket. After a year of trips and more than 31,000 miles, we shared happiness, and sadness. We overcame difficulties in more than 20 countries and 60 different cities. Although some people think that it is impossible, they achieved to join Gibraltar with Nordkapp by our own means. They made lots of friends. Finally, we decided to come to Argentina. The travel was unforgettable for him.

After knowing lots of people who changed his way of thinking and seeing the world, he understands that it is high time to do something else for those who love traveling. He came to Argentina, he took up again his last years of study and founded Argentina Travel Group with only one aim, to help and improve the experience of those who decide to travel today in Argentina, and, maybe, tomorrow in the world.
